Trend Media creates high-quality content for motion picture, television, and digital audiences.

Trend Media incubates television shows through an innovative and disruptive development process. The boutique studio was formed in 2009 by independent producers Rob Shalhoub and Rani Aliahmad with the goal of capturing opportunities presented by the convergence of traditional and new media.

By employing studio techniques, Trend Media develops entertainment properties fit for network broadcast and then produces cost-effective, quality webisodes intended for new media audiences.

After creating and producing “Homeland Insecurity”, an ensemble workplace comedy set at airport security, Trend Media partnered with Sony Television and sold the show to CBS in 2010. Trend Media has several shows in development with major studios, networks, and independent production companies, and is rolling out a slate of 16 projects over the next 2 years in comedy, drama, and unscripted formats.

Trend Media is represented by Creative Artists Agency and has a first-look deal with Sony Television.
